This Was Vivek Oberoi's First Kiss! Really?

Vivek Oberoi is super-excited about his comeback in Prince-It's Showtime. Excerpts:

Prince – It's Showtime boasts of some thrilling action scenes…
The story of Prince – It's Showtime is based on a quick-witted thief, who wakes up one morning to realize that he has a gunshot on his arm and has absolutely no clue about how he gets it and he also can't remember who he is.

However, he does finds out that his name is “Prince” and he used to work for a person named “Sarang” and also that his girlfriend's name is “Maya”. This is my solo film after a long time and I'm hoping for positive results.

How was it working with the makers of film Race?
I would love to thank Mr. Kumar Taurani for making this film brilliant. He has made several top notch films under the Tips films banner but Prince – It's Showtime is surely going to be a different one compared to what you've seen before!

So what makes it different from other action cum thriller films?
Well all the action scenes have been shot beautifully by debutant director Kookie.V.Gulati. Moreover, most of the action scenes in the film have been made in Hollywood style which the audience will be seeing for the first time.

Since it's an all action flick, do we see you competing with the action guru Akshay Kumar?
Hey, Akshay Kumar is God and incomparable. But I confess I've done some dare devilry stunts in my film which I had never done before. Prince – It's Showtime is my first action film and will showcase me in a new avtar. It's a story that could be every man's fantasy and every man's nightmare.

Three actresses are adding some extra glamour to this film. What do you've to say about the hot beauties?
They are wonderful girls to work with. We used to have a blast during the shoot and of course all 3 of them are really good looking!

A little birdy told us about a hot steamy kissing scene between you and Aruna Shields. How many re-takes of this scene happened or did it come naturally?
Well if you know, this was my first kissing scene ever so obviously it didn't come out naturally and we had to do some re-takes.

Tell us about your upcoming films?
I'm currently doing Ram Gopal Varma's film Rakta Charitra and two other films in pipeline.

Vivek Oberoi Is Learning Drums Playing For Prince Movie

After learning how to strum a guitar for his film "Omkara", Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi has now learnt how to play the drums for his forthcoming film "Prince".

For a sequence in the song "Oh mere khuda", Vivek was to be shown playing the drums and he wanted it to look authentic. After discussing this with his producer Kumar Taurani, Vivek got a a drum instructor on the sets, said a source from the unit.

"It took a few days of training at lunch time for Vivek to get it right," said the source.

"Prince", releasing March 26, is a fast paced slick action thriller. It is about a savvy thief who is the most wanted man in the country.

Kiss Within Hot Scenes Make Aruna Vivek Intimate Couple?

Vivek Oberoi seems to have had a ball shooting for Kookie Gulati's 'Prince'. His closeness to co-star Neeru Bajwa was rather talked about but it now looks like he's also quite intimate with Aruna Shields, the lead actress of Prince.

The duo got intimate after they filmed for a kissing scene in Prince. According to sources, they were seen spending quite a lot of time together and got along really well too.

Though it is unknown if they are in a serious relationship, seeing as Aruna has returned to the UK, from where she hails, it seems she will be returning once the film nears release. Wow, looks like someone's scored a girl here, doesn't it?

Vivek Oberoi Is Not Stalking Aishwarya & Abhishek?

Vivek Oberoi is clearly not happy about being tagged as a "stalker" or a "gatecrasher" and says he is "genuinely sick" of all controversies.

"Suddenly I'm a stalker one day and one day I'm a gatecrasher. Mela laga hua hai kya (Is it a fair of controversies)? Will anybody say anything and walk away? What nonsense is this?

It's very irresponsible and I completely disapprove of it. It's rubbish. If there was an element of truth in this, I can understand. But this is nonsense, " Vivek told.

The actor, who was here to give a sneak preview of a Bollywood musical to be performed at a yet-to-be opened entertainment destination Kingdom of Dreams, seemed visibly upset about recent news reports about him.

He has been accused of going uninvited for a party at superstar Shah Rukh Khan's residence where his former beau Aishwarya Rai was present with husband Abhishek Bachchan.

"Shah Rukh and Gauri have been exceptionally kind to me, they are lovely people. It's not like I haven't been to their place before. I have been to their place for their events, their parties - and suddenly I become a gatecrasher? From where? Does anybody do that? I won't go to my relatives house without an invite, " Vivek said.

The 33-year-old also came in the spotlight recently when he was seated next to the former Miss World at a function in Mumbai, while at another event, he was blamed for being strategically seated behind power couple Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan.

And when Vivek made an unexpected late entry at the premiere of "Rann" in New Delhi Thursday, where Aishwarya and Abhishek were present, his presence was speculated upon yet again.

"Yesterday I came out of the premiere of 'Rann' and I was asked a silly question - 'Why weren't you sitting in the same auditorium?'. How do I answer that? Do I have to go search for them in each auditorium and then sit accordingly? It's ridiculous. And if I was inside the same auditorium as theirs, then people would say 'You're stalking them', " said Vivek.

He stressed that every person involved in these speculations has moved on and is happy in his or her life, and so the media should just let them be.

"They are all happy with their own lives. I am doing great work by god's grace, my personal life is very happy, I have got a great life and wonderful friends. They (Abhishek and Aishwarya) are married, they are really happy, doing really well and they are wonderful, civil to me as I am to them and there is no problem. It is irritating that people just keep bringing it up."

The actor first brush with controversy came when he called a press conference against actor Salman Khan in 2003. He has been courting controversies ever since, but says he is tired of making clarifications now.

"I'm tired of clarifications. Why should I keep giving clarifications? There are new stories about me everyday, so should I leave everything and make clarifications?

I'm a human being, I'm an actor, I work, I have a family, I have got a nice life - let me live it. Otherwise I should be on the hotline with the media constantly. I am genuinely sick of it. People should stop it now, " he said.

On the film front, Vivek will soon be seen in Ramesh Taurani's "Prince" followed by Ram Gopal Varma's two-part series "Rakta Charitra".
